Terms of use

The service

Esansmatik is a web app for people who make perfume at home: a concentration calculator, formula notebook, cost tracker and formula sharing. It is operated by Talha Emirhan Boyraz (Fatih Mah. Aydos Cad., Sancaktepe, Istanbul, Türkiye · [email protected]).

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the information you give at sign-up being accurate.
• Keeping your password safe is up to you. If you notice someone else using your account, let us know right away.
• Accounts can't be transferred; each person may only open an account for themselves.

Pricing

All features are currently free. If a paid plan is introduced, we'll announce it in advance; records you created during the free period won't be deleted and you'll be able to export them. You won't be charged for a paid plan without agreeing to it.

Calculations and safety

Calculations are for information. We take care to make them accurate, but results depend on the values you enter (concentration, density, prices). Esansmatik does not perform safety assessments: following your supplier's current documentation on IFRA limits, skin safety and raw material use, and preparing your blends accordingly, is your responsibility.

If you sell the perfumes you make, complying with cosmetics regulations (safety documentation, labeling and similar obligations) is your responsibility. In the US, for example, cosmetics fall under FDA rules.

Your content

The formulas, notes and other content you enter belong to you. We store and process it only to provide the service. When you open content on your share page, you allow people with the link to view it and to copy the formula into their own notebook. Once you turn sharing off, new visitors can no longer see it; copies already made by others stay with them.

Rules

• Don't share content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringes other people's rights.
• Don't share other people's personal data without their permission.
• Don't try to gain unauthorized access, get around security, or overload the service.
• Don't collect data from the service in bulk with automated tools.
• Don't create fake accounts, send spam or otherwise misuse the service.

We may review reported content, remove content we find breaks these rules, and restrict the account involved temporarily or permanently.

Changes and interruptions

We may change, add or remove features to improve the service. Maintenance or technical problems can cause interruptions, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We back up the database regularly, but we still recommend keeping your own copy of important records.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from using the calculations, from blends you prepare, or from products you sell. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any mandatory consumer rights you have.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may close accounts that seriously breach these terms, with notice, or without notice where necessary.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll announce significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Central) have jurisdiction. This does not take away any mandatory rights consumers have under the law of their country of residence.
